2026 MPRA Annual Conference Scholarship

Please read all of these instructions prior to proceeding. 

Eligible applicants must be Individual Professional members and/or a full-time employee or board/commission member of an Agency or Organization member of MPRA. This year MPRA will award up to four (4) full conference scholarships which includes a full delegate pass, 3 room nights at the host hotel, and a $100 stipend.  

Applications are due December 5.

How many years has it been since you last attended the MPRA Annual Conference & Expo, NRPA Annual Conference, or another states parks and recreation conference as a professional?

Have you received this MPRA Professional Development Scholarship before?

Please submit a short explanation (no more than 150 words) about why you feel you need this scholarship. This should incorporate information about your agency’s financial situation including whether there are travel funds available for you to attend the MPRA Conference or other conferences this year.

Please submit a short essay (no more than 300 words) explaining the impact that receiving this scholarship will have on both you and MPRA. In other words, how will you benefit from attending the MPRA Conference and how will the Missouri Park & Recreation Association benefit from your involvement?
